    What is CASA ?

CASA is a not-for-profit organization serving the community. CASA Volunteers are Court Appointed Special Advocates appointed by a Judge to speak on behalf of children who come under the jurisdiction of the court because of child abuse or neglect.

All children have a right to a safe home with loving people to care for them. However, each year in Michigan, thousands of children are abused, neglected, or abandoned by their families. Over 15,000 children are removed from their homes and placed in foster care, relative care, or an institution.

 CASA of Menominee County

The mission of CASA OF MENOMINEE COUNTY is to provide quality volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children involved with family court to assure each child a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.

Michigan CASA Conference

Our Executive Director and Volunteers never stop learning.  This October a group went to the Michigan CASA State Conference in Kalamazoo to learn more about poverty and its effects on families.  We're always training to better serve our community.

CASA Golf Outing 2022

CASA fundraisers are always a good time. Our Golf Outing was back in person this year.  Tyler Cahill even scored a Hole in One for local foster children.
